If you are tired of pressing the power button and then swiping the touch screen, or keying in passwords, or drawing patterns so as to unlock your mobile phone. If you want to avoid any of these tedious steps but not to spend as much as an iPhone 6 or Plus costs. You may have a glance at Ulefone Be Touch 2, a Chinese flagship packing a fingerprint scanner.
You are not mistaken.
The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the sunken round home button on the
front of Ulefone Be touch 2 , instead of a back-borne one as you see on Huawei
Mate 7. With this, you can enter your home screen by just pressing the home key
and holding a tiny little while. You don’t even have to pick up your phone when
it’s on the desk. At most, the scanner recognizes 5 fingerprint IDs you’ve
recorded, which means in different situations, you can choose to use the finger
you feel most comfortable.
Design-wise, Ulefone Be Touch 2 flaunts an
allover piece of 2.5D glass on its face and a magnesium-aluminum alloy frame.
The glass was coated with some special material to make it less vulnerable to
sweat and oil stains . On the rear side, there is a removable plastic battery
cover, with extra denim-look fabric protective cases for extra money. The phone
has both space grey and silk white versions, while there are beige, blue and
pink options for the fabric cases.
The 5.5-inch display
of the Be Touch 2 has a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, representing a pixel
density of 401 per inch. Camera solutions are 5MP and 13MP for front and rear,
respectively. The back camera sports an IMX214 sensor, which, Ulefone believes,
is better debugged than on other Chinese phones. And the front camera can
co-work with a front-facing flash for selfie in dark lights.
As expected, the Be
Touch 2 will come with the pure Android 5.1 operating system. A 64-bit 8-core
CPU works as the new Ulefone stuff’s powerhouse, namely MTK6752, with a clock
speed of 1.7GHz. By the way, the newer MTK6753 processor, as adopted on Meizu
M2 Note, is actually running at 1.3Ghz, an under-clock version of MTK6572
instead of enhanced. Other components of Ulefone be touch 2 include a 3050mAh
solid-state polymer battery, 3GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB storage which is expandable
to 64GB.
Ulefone didn’t reveal
more about its stunning pricing strategy, just saying that the Be Touch 2 will
be sold for exactly USD179.99 in a certain period of time. Presently, phones
with worse hardware specifications are sold for about USD230, such as the Meizu
M1 Note.
